Paul O'Connell Retires
Paul O'Connell has retired from all forms of rugby with immediate effect. After 14 years of professional rugby the Irish legend bows out after sustaining a hamstring injury during the 2015 Rugby World Cup. He has been kept on the sidelines since during recovery and has not been able to play for new side Toulon.

O'Connell played 174 times for Munster and 108 times for Ireland scoring 40 points. He went on 3 British and Irish Lions tours (2005, 2009 & 2013) making 7 appearances
