Owen Farrell signs new contract with Saracens
Owen Farrell, the England fly-half, has handed Saracens a boost in the wake of their Champions Cup semi-final defeat by Clermont Auvergne by signing a new contract with the club.
Farrell, 24, made his comeback from the knee injury that ruled him out of the Six Nations Championship as a replacement last weekend but was unable to prevent Saracens from losing 13-9.
The fly-half, son of the England defence coach Andy, made his first-team debut in 2008 and said he could not envisage playing rugby anywhere else.
