On this day seven years ago Italy defeated Scotland at Murrayfield

2007 was a good Six Nations campaign for Italy as they avoided the wooden spoon thanks to victories over Scotland and Wales. They went into the Scotland game looking for their first ever away win in the Six Nations. In the end they left with a 37-17 win, but if truth may be told they were gifted three of the four tries they scored with Scotland shooting themselves in the foot. Since then they have failed to achieve another away win in the competition and will be looking to end their seven year wait for an away win when they travel to Murrayfield on Saturday.
