Saturday will see NSW Country Eagles welcome Melbourne Rising for a clash off for a spot in the finals.

Rising arrive fresh from a 32-38 defeat by the Sydney Rays and hope their wounds have healed enough to knock through this Round.

The side hasn't had a good season, having suffered 4 defeats, while the Eagles have only recorded one loss in 7 matches.

Eagles' Jake Gordon and Rising's Jack Debreczeni should sure put on a performance during this clash as they are each side's top point scorer.

During the sides' last encounter, Rays brought out their guns to the field and snatched a 28-8 victory in Round 2.

Perth Spirit will look to redeem themselves and put on the face they had when they defeated Brisbane City 60-22 in Round 6.

A win for Spirit here should make fans forget about the team's bad start of the season and confirm a pleasing spot in the final.

The teams are number 2 (Rays) and 3 (Spirit) on the league table with 30 and 24 points respectively.

The first semi-final whistle will be blown this Saturday, 15th October.
