Nottingham Rugby have announced their first four re-signings in preparation for their 2018/19 Championship season.
Flanker Ben Morris, lock Tom Holmes and scrum-half Murray McConnell have all penned new two-year deals, whilst second-rower Danny Qualter has signed a one-year extension to his contract.
Speaking about the securing the signatures of the four key players, outgoing head coach Ian Costello said:
“Our vision as a club is based on retaining the core of our squad and adding a number of quality players each season to maintain continuity and allow us to progress as a team. Ben, Tom, Murray and Danny are quality players and more importantly, exactly the type of people to take the club forward.
“It speaks volumes about the environment and the rugby programme here at Nottingham that these players, and many more soon to be announced, have decided to commit their future to the club."
The signings are the first of many to be announced in the coming days, as the Green and Whites move to secure the core of their current squad for next season’s league campaign and beyond.
