North & Cuthbert likely to start on the wings for Wales against the Springboks in RWC Q-Final match

Wales assistant coach Rob Howley has revealed that George North and Alex Cuthbert are set to both start on the wing for this weekend’s quarter-final against the Springboks.

“George North and Alex Cuthbert will be likely on the wing,” Howley revealed.

"If you look at South African strengths, see the way they play, it's going to be an aerial battle so they will be best off on the wings to negate that threat.”

Eli Walker has been called into the Wales squad in place of the injured Liam Williams, although he won’t be available to face South Africa.

"We have called Eli up. He is not available this weekend for selection. He will be available if needed for the following week.”

Howley also cleared up any worries on centre Jamie Roberts.

"He is fine. He's had concussion, gone through the protocols but he's available."
