No Home Tests An Increasing Possibility For Argentina In 2020

Argentina face the likelihood of not playing a single test match on home soil in 2020 due to the global pandemic.

According to Americas Rugby News, the Responses to the pandemic means that all the dates for Argentina’s home matches are officially compromised, leaving the test side without a home test match for the first year since 1982.

Los Pumas had six home tests scheduled for 2020 with the likes of France and Italy touring the South American country in July with the likes of Australia, New Zealand and South Africa heading across the sea for the Rugby Championship.

Travel routes to Argentina have been damaged due to global restrictions with Air New Zealand ending its service to Buenos Aires permanently while the Argentine government have also suspended all flights until September.
