New Zealand v Fiji: 6 stand out players
- 2226
The final score does not do the game justice after a brilliant outing by the Fijian side as they made the All Blacks work hard for their win. Dane Coles came off the bench to score four tries as he cruises into our top performers alog with five others.
Brodie Retallick - New Zealand:
Retallick proved to be a force to be reckoned with in the All Blacks frontline, gaining 22 metres throughout his game. As usual with an All Black forward, he was also strong in defence and made sure that a strong Fijian attack didn't get the better of the All Blacks.

Sam Matavesi - Fiji:
Matavesi, along with his teammates, came into this match all guns blazing. The Fijians showed that they were ready to rumble against the All Blacks and continued their strong performance for a long time into the game. Matavesi was an integral part in this performance as his stats suggest! He got the momentum up in the front and made good use of his hands by getting a try assist!

David Havili - New Zealand:
A potential man of the match contender, getting two tries within three minutes of each other in the first half that proved important in maintaining a strong momentum as the game went on. The All Blacks needed this momentum as they faced the tough fight coming from the Fijians. Havili played at full strength for the 70 minutes that he was on the field to make sure that the All Blacks were not overcome!

Albert Tuisue - Fiji:
Tuisue was a strong force in the Fijian game today that allowed them to be so strong against the All Blacks. He played an important link in the Fiji backline that meant they could get some good points early on in the match. He also made sure to steal the ball at important times that meant that New Zealand missed out on more opportunities.

Sevu Reece - New Zealand:
The man with the most metres gained. Reece showed once again that he really is a world-class winger! He wasn't able to get a try in today but he came awfully close. He also made sure to make up for that lack of tries by getting his teammates into good positions in their runs.
