Munster Rugby v Harlequins Round 1 Highlights

Munster started their Champions Cup campaign on a high with a 21-7 home win over an ill disciplined Harlequins side. Munster opened the scoring with a penalty 13 minutes in to lead 3-0. Harlequins had two penalty attempts in quick succession around the half hour mark, but both went wide. Harlequins then picked up a yellow card just before the break, but the resulting shot at goal from Munster was missed as the hosts led 6-0 at halftime. Munster picked up a yellow card early in the second half, but shortly after they were awarded a penalty try to make it 13-0, with Harlequins back down to 14 players with their second yellow card of the match. Harlequins hit back 55 minutes in with their first try to reduce the deficit to 13-6 heading into the final quarter. However, Harlequins would pick up their third yellow card of the game, with the resulting Munster penalty making it a two score ball game at 16-7. Munster would cross for a second try with ten minutes to play to seal the match as they continued their fine start to the season.
