Munster gear up for Scarlets

The Munster squad started preparations today (Tuesday) ahead of Friday week’s URC round 10 clash against Scarlets at Parc y Scarlets (7.35pm, live on TG4 & Premier Sports).
There are no fresh injuries to report following Saturday’s win over Crusaders at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
Tom Ahern has completed the return to play protocols and returns to full team training this week.
RG Snyman also returns to full team training after recovering from a chest/shoulder injury sustained in the World Cup final.
Cian Hurley (ankle/achilles) is increasing his training load.
There is unfortunate news for Patrick Campbell as he will undergo surgery on a shoulder injury and is unavailable for the coming four to five months.
Continuing to rehab: Simon Zebo (knee), John Hodnett (finger), Paddy Patterson (knee), Jack O’Donoghue (knee), Dave Kilcoyne (shoulder), Diarmuid Barron (foot), Jean Kleyn (eye/knee), Liam Coombes (shoulder), RG Snyman (chest/shoulder), Roman Salanoa (knee).
On the international front, four Munster players were in action for Ireland against France on Friday night.
Ireland captain Peter O’Mahony, Tadhg Beirne, Jack Crowley and Calvin Nash all impressed with Nash making his first start as Crowley made his first 6 Nations start.
Academy trio Evan O’Connell, Ben O’Connor and Brian Gleeson were in action for the Ireland U20s in their victory over France on Saturday night with O’Connell captaining the side.
Cork Constitution’s Danny Sheahan and Shannon’s Luke Murphy also featured for the Ireland U20s.
