Monday Round-Up
Halfpenny a doubt for semi: Toulon fullback Leigh Halfpenny is a doubt for Sunday's crucial semi-final game against Leinster. The Welsh international injured his shoulder while playing for Toulon in their 35-24 win over Grenoble. Halfpenny was just back from a concussion injury which he suffered on the last day of the tournament of the 6 nations and looks like he will miss another crucial fixture for Toulon. It is expected that Delon Armitage will fill in for the injured 15.
Newport stun Leinster: It was another great day for Newport Gwent Dragons as they came back from a 22-8 deficit to defeat Leinster 25-22. It is the first time the Dragons have done the double over Leinster in a Pro12 season. The defeat leaves Leinster 8 points adrift of the Top 4 and with 3 games to go it looks like a lot to make up. Not the result Matt O'Connor's men were hoping for with a crucial semi-final next week in France against Toulon.
