Jacques Brunel to coach Bordeaux next season
Former Italy head coach Jacques Brunel is set to take over at Bordeaux-Bègles next season.
"Jacques is the right person, he is someone who has a lot of experience, and is pragmatic," said UBB president Laurent Marti.
A former France assistant coach, Brunel previously led Perpignan to the Top 14 title back in 2010.

Sale Sharks have announced the signing of Romanian Prop Forward Alexandru Tarus on a two-year contract. Tarus has represented Romania 16 times and currently plays for Beziers in ProD2.

Seven Academy Players Sign Professional contracts for Bristol
Bristol Rugby have confirmed that seven members of the Academy U18 squad have signed professional terms ahead of the 2017/18 season.
Tom Rowland, James Dun , Iwan Hughes, Dan Thurston, Matt Welsh, Nick Freeman and Tom Hargan have all been signed to the Senior Academy having impressed the coach staff during their time at the club.

Sekope Kepu suspended for 1 week
Waratahs prop Sekope Kepu has been given a one-game ban after receiving his third yellow card of the season.
He was penalised for a late and high shot on Jordie Barrett in the 27th minute of last Friday’s loss to the Hurricanes, meaning he will miss the Waratahs’ round-nine clash against the Kings on Friday.
Oli Evans re-signs with Nottingham Rugby
Oli Evans has penned a new one-year contract, committing himself to Nottinham for the 2017/18 season.
The 27 year-old back signed for the Green & Whites from Jersey Reds in April 2016 and has impressed in his 20 league and cup appearances so far this season, scoring 4 tries.

Grayson Hart set to join Ealing Trailfinders
Scotland international Grayson Hart is set to become the second player to join Ealing Trailfinders from Glasgow Warriors this year when the international scrum-half signs on in time for pre-season.
"It is such an exciting time to be joining the Ealing Trailfinders as they are playing some excellent rugby and I want to help the club continue to grow," said Hart.

Super Rugby restructured to 15 Teams from 2018
SANZAAR has announced that the Super Rugby tournament has been restructured and will kick-off in 2018 with a three conference, 15-team format: five teams from New Zealand, four from Australia, four from South Africa, one from Japan; and one from Argentina.
The change sees an overall reduction of three teams from the current 18-team format, two from South Africa and one from Australia. The teams from Australia and South Africa that will compete in Super Rugby will be confirmed in due course by the respective National Unions.
