Mike Brown helps out in the coaching department

Harlequins fullback Mike Brown is helping out at training while awaiting his fate. Brown was red carded a few weeks ago for stamping on the face of an opponent when his team took on Wasps.
The 35 year-old subsequently received a six-match ban for his actions but undertook an appeal, the result of which he hears this evening (Wednesday). Should his ban be shortened, he will have a chance to pull on the Quins jersey again before he leaves the club next season.
Despite his unfortunate limbo, Brown is making himself useful where he can.
"Mike took a bit of time off. He had a couple of days to process everything.
"He's training with us and we've given him a bit of responsibility with the back three - high ball work which he's world class at.
"It's good to have him in and around the group because he's got a wealth of experience.
"Having Mike around to help the younger guys in these money months is crucial for us.
"It's really unfortunate that it's turned out in this way. The best respect and the best thing we can do for him is to do the best we can."
