Fullback Michael Collins has penned a one-year contract extension with the Blues ahead if the 2019 season.
The 24-year-old, who should be back in contention for a starting spot against the Rebels on Saturday, confirmed the news saying:
"I believe change will happen here and I want to be a part of that change.
"I guess from the outside looking in, it's pretty hard to see past the results because we have had a tough year.
"But inside the camp, everyone gets on. Everyone's had an enjoyable time and we're building towards success together.
"For me, I want to contribute to that change. Tana (Umaga, Blues coach) gave me a shot at the start and I want to give back to that, I want to contribute and be a part of that change."
Collins made his return to the field from the bench in their most recent game against the Crusaders in round 14.
He had missed the previous four games with a wrist injury and at training on Tuesday was wearing a brace to protect it from any damaging blows.
