May still in shock after Wales defeat
England winger Jonny May admitted that he was still shocked that the team lost to Wales last Saturday.

"I feel shocked by the result but fair play to Wales and we have to move on as quickly as we can. We were in control of the game but we couldn't quite finish them off. What can we learn? Maybe more discipline in the breakdown and make sure we finish those teams off."

"We had to look at the match and learn from it and put it to bed. It is important to forget about it and look to Australia. Out there it felt like we were in control but it is overshadowed by the disappointment of losing.”

England lost Billy Vunipola to injury the rest of the tournament but admitted that having Nick Easter’s experience in camp would be a positive.

"It will be refreshing to have a new guy in camp and he is an experienced head to have in the camp.

"He has been there and done it and it is going to be invaluable in experience and have a calming influence on us.”
