Marco Lazzaroni called into the Italy squad

Italy's Head Coach Conor O'Shea has called Benetton flanker Marco Lazzaroni into his squad for the June internationals, in place of captain George Biagi.

Biagi, 19 caps, fractured his right cheekbone during his club match against Zebre last Saturday. He and the medical staff decided not to operate and he is expected to be out for about a month.

Lazzaroni will look to make his debut for Italy having already made 42 appearances in the PRO12 and 17 of the Champions Cup and Challenge Cup for Benetton, since joining the club in 2014.
