Many options for Lions to wing it

Emirates Lions winger Mark Richards has made a good recovery from the Willem Alberts hit that knocked him out a fortnight ago, but has a lot of competition if he wants to be selected for the team’s next Vodacom Super Rugby match against the Toyota Cheetahs this weekend.


Richards suffered concussion and was taken off the field after the massive hit, and there was relief all round when he was declared fine afterwards, adding another notch to the reputation of Alberts as “the bone collector”.
