Luke Jacobson ruled out for the rest of Super Rugby Aotearoa season

Chiefs and All Blacks flanker Luke Jacobson has been ruled out for the remainder of the Super Rugby Aotearoa season after sustaining a fractured metacarpal against the Blues last Saturday.

The rehabilitation period is approximately five to six weeks, leading to Jacobson’s unavailability for the remainder of 2020.
The 23-year-old made two test appearances for the All Blacks in 2019 and was selected in the Rugby World Cup squad but did not play a game after suffering a head knock.
Jacobson started both Super Rugby Aotearoa matches on the Chiefs' blindside flank, but had to leave the field against the Blues with his hand problem.
