Lions opt for stronger defence

Emirates Lions coach Johan Ackermann has moved towards a stronger defensive and more traditional team selection as he named his side to face the Queensland Reds in Brisbane on Saturday.
A victory will end their tour on a high note and give Ackermann’s charges an exceptional three wins out of four for the tour, meaning they are right back in contention for the SA conference and will have regained a lot of confidence.
But Ackermann is wary of a returning Quade Cooper and several other Reds stalwarts, so he has reverted back to a traditional 10/12 combination.
