Leinster made to work to book quarter-final
Four-time champions winners Leinster were pushed all the way by a valiant Edinburgh side as they booked a quarter-final date with Sale Sharks.
Any hopes the Irish side had of a quick start to the second period were put to bed when Edinburgh took the lead 10 minutes after the restart.
But the half was to follow a similar, back-and-forth trend to the first as the hosts took back the lead through Josh van der Flier.
Tom Clarkson and Rieko Ioane stepped up for the hosts too to put the exclamation mark on the tie, Leinster pulling away.
