Leicester Tigers are hoping to add flanker Lachlan McCaffrey to their squad for next season.
The 25-year-old is English-qualified despite representing Australia at schoolboy level and helping the junior Wallabies to the final of the 2010 IRB Junior World Championships in Argentina.
Currently at London Welsh, the Aviva Premiership's bottom club, McCaffrey played for Western Force against the touring British & Irish Lions in 2013 and has also played for the New South Wales Waratahs, where he made his Super Rugby debut in 2010.
