Leicester Tigers fly-half Owen Williams wins top Wales award

Leicester Tigers fly-half Owen Williams has been voted Wales' most promising player by the Welsh Rugby Writers Association. In Owen's absence at the ceremony, his father Linley accepted the trophy on his behalf from former top international referee Clive Norling.The 40th anniversary awards dinner was held at Cardiff RFC, Arms Park.Williams is yet to feature in the Wales squad but that is set to change this season.It is extremely rare for an English-based player to win such an award., Leicester Tigers fly-half Owen Williams wins top Wales award
