Josh vd Flier had another great outing for Leinster and was an unsung hero for the hosts despite scoring a sublime try.
vd Flier made three gainline carries from his six in total. He made 20 post contact meters from his 62 meters carried. His one clean break was the one of the wing which resulted in his only and a vital Leinster try. He made three touches in the game ending in passes. All three of those were him coming in at playmaker to link up and made two handling errors in his 80 minutes on the field
While not coneding a penalty in the game he did give up three turnovers and won two back. On defence he made 17 of his 20 tackles with one domiant tackle.
With four defenders beaten he and Levani Botia were the highest among the forwards on the day.
