- 4199
The Top League is in full swing and is quite a draw card for a number of players, not to mention some SuperStars. We have put together a rather formidable World XV that could casue a few upsets.
An all Japanese front row to start things with Inagaka having played in that memorable winning game against the Springboks in 2015. 56 international caps between them
1 Keita Inagaka - Panasonic Wild Knights
2 Hiroki Yuhara - Toshiba Brave Lupus
3 Takuma Asahara - Toshiba Brave Lupus
The old Chief and the young Bull make up the lock pairing with over 200 Premiership appearences 29 Tests and a Lions Tour Parling lines up alongside a youngster that will no doubt be in the Springbok set up for years to come
4 Geoff Parling - Sanix Blues
5 RG Snyman - Honda Heat
An international back row with plenty of trophies in the cabinet between the 3. Todd teams up with the huge carries and hard working Higginbotham and Vermeulen. This loose trio would cause trouble to most sides. Sean McMahon just misses out.
6 Matt Todd - Panasonic Wild Knights
7 Scott Higginbotham - NEC Green Rockets
8 Duane Vermeulen - Kubota Spears
An All Black half pairing to be envious of. A host of experience playing behind a solid pack with a deadly backline at their disposal...
9 Andy Ellis - Kobelco Steelers
10 Dan Carter - Kobelco Steelers
Some tough calls made here as there is a plethora of speed and talent playing in the Top League. The Wallaby midfield pairing on their day would cause havoc and keep you on your toes. The back 3 are out and out finishers.
11 Gio Aplon - Toyota Verblitz
12 Matt Giteau - Suntory Sungoliath
13 Adam Ashley Cooper - Kobelco Steelers
14 Digby Ioane - Panasonic Wild Knights
15 Israel Dagg - Canon Eagles
