Jacques du Plessis departs Bath Rugby

Johann van Graan, Head of Rugby, said: "Jacques has left Bath Rugby with immediate effect by mutual consent for personal, family reasons.

“I, and the club, wish Jacques the very best for the future and we wish him and his family very well."

Du Plessis, who will be returning to South Africa, played five times for the Blue, Black and White after signing in March 2024, making his first competitive start in last season's Premiership fixture at Harlequins having featured in Bath's friendly versus Gloucester earlier that month.
