Jack O'Connell to join Ealing Trailfinders from Bristol Rugby

Ealing Trailfinders have announced the signing of Jack O’Connell from Bristol Rugby on a one-year contract. 

The loosehead prop has been at Ashton Gate since 2014 but will now head to Vallis Way for the next chapter of his career.

“Jack is a player that we have been very impressed with and we are excited to bring him on board," said Director of rugby Ben Ward.

"He is very powerful in the set-piece but is also an experienced head which will be important amongst the group.”

The 27-year-old has featured for Bristol on 67 occasions, with the majority of those in the Greene King IPA Championship, making him the ideal fit with vast experience in the league. 

Before that O’Connell spent three years with hometown club Leinster between 2011 and 2014, representing them 15 times.
