It is 4 years to the day when Munster won their last league title

It is exactly four years to the day when Munster won their last piece of silverware and their last league title. Known as the Magners League at the time, Munster took on Leinster in the final at Thomond Park. They took on a Leinster side who had won the Heineken Cup a week earlier and were in search of a famous double. However it was not to be for Leinster with Munster taking advantage of a tired Leinster side winning the game 19-9 thanks to tries from Doug Howlett, Keith Earls and a penalty try late on. After celebrating their league title in 2011 they have had to wait four years to make it back to the final again and they will look to end their wait for a league title when they take on Glasgow Warriors on Saturday.
