Irish Squads ahead of the Champions and Challenge Cup

Round 3 of the European Season is about to get underway. Here is a look at the squads named by Leinster, Munster, Ulster and Connacht

Ulster:

Ulster face Scarlets tonight. Scarlets are yet to win a game in the Champions Cup this season and will be looking to turn that around against their Pro 14 rivals. Henderson and Addison return for the Ulster side. Rory Best equals Andrew Trimbles club record of 71 European appearances

Connacht:

Bundee Aki, Finlay Bealham and Quinn Roux all return as Connacht face Perpignan in the Challenge Cup. Connacht have a win and a loss out of their opening 2 games of the tournament

Leinster:

Johnny Sexton returns to Captain Leinster as they look to get back to winning ways following a loss to Toulouse in Round 2. Leinster travel to Bath for their Round 3 fixture.

Rob Kearney “This next block of eight games is season-defining for us. We’re second in the group so we’re chasing Toulouse,”

Munster:

Carbery and Stander the only changes for Munster as they prepare for Castres at Thomond Park this weekend. Munster have 1 win and 1 draw from the opening 2 games but still currently top Pool 2
