Ireland RWC 2023 Bid Confirmed

The Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) have confirmed its intention to submit a bid to host the 2023 Rugby World Cup. The announcement was made in conjunction with the Irish Government and the Northern Ireland Executive, both of whom pledged their support for the tournament bid. A bid from Ireland has been on the cards since a government taskforce was asked toassess the suitability of a bid in January 2014.
