Harlequins has announced that Ireland international Anna Caplice has signed for the Club from the 2019/20 season.
The ball-carrying flanker first picked up a rugby ball at the age of 17 at Mallow Rugby Club, near Cork in southwest Ireland. After excelling at club level, she was called up to represent provincial side, Munster Rugby.
Caplice made her debut for Ireland in 2016 during the Autumn Series against Canada, having also represented her country in the 7s game the year before. In 2017, she was named alongside fellow Quin Leah Lyons in Ireland’s Women’s Six Nations squad.
After moving abroad to play in Japan, Caplice returned to England to join Tyrrells Premier 15s Richmond FC Ladies where she played for four seasons.
