Imhoff to start for Pumas in Durban

Argentina coach Michael Cheika has made two changes to his team for Saturday’s final round Rugby Championship clash against the Springboks in Durban, where the Test is scheduled to kick off at 17h05 (16h05 UK).

Cheika has named Matías Moroni to start at outside centre in place of Matías Orlando, while the experienced Juan Imhoff will run out at left wing, in place of Lucio Cinti.

Imhoff will have good recollections of playing in Durban. He scored a hat-trick of tries against the Springboks at Hollywoodbets Kings Park in 2015, when the Pumas beat the Boks for the first time, with the flyer becoming the first player to cross the Bok try-line three times in a Test.

Cheika also made some tweaks to the bench, where the uncapped Pedro Rubiolo has been included along with Bautista Delguy and Mayco Vivas.

Argentina team to face the Boks in Durban: 15. Juan Cruz Mallía, 14. Emiliano Boffelli, 13. Matías Moroni, 12. Jerónimo de la Fuente, 11. Juan Imhoff, 10. Santiago Carreras, 9. Gonzalo Bertranou, 8. Pablo Matera, 7. Marcos Kremer, 6. Juan Martín González, 5. Tomás Lavanini, 4. Matías Alemanno, 3. Eduardo Bello, 2. Julián Montoya (captain), 1. Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro.
