Hurricanes Assistant Coach John Plumtree has sympathised with Blues’ Coach John Kirwan, following the side's winless start to the Super 15 season.
"Teams have this, there's not too many experienced coaches out there who don't go through these patches," said Plumtree.
The Hurricanes remain the only unbeaten New Zealand side this season, whereas the Blues are the only side yet to secure a victory.
The two teams play against each other on Friday evening in Palmerston North, and Plumtree refuses to take his northern rivals lightly.
