It has been confirmed that Tom Homer will join Bath this week after being released from his contract with London Irish. Bath agreed to sign Homer as a replacement for Gavin Henson who will join Bristol with immediate effect.
Bath are now getting an experienced player who has been playing in the Aviva Premiership since 2008 and is still only 24. Aswell his versatility will bring a lot to Mike Ford’s side with Homer able to play in many positions in the backline such as fullback, centre and wing.
Mike Ford, Bath Rugby Head Coach said, “Tom is an incredibly talented young player and he’s got a great attitude that will fit in well with the squad here and our policy of recruiting young, English talent. He already has a huge amount of experience, given he’s only 24, and we’re really looking forward to seeing him continue developing as a player here at Bath.”
