Hoeata and Lienert-Brown cop 5 week suspensions

Jarrad Hoeata (Taranaki) and Daniel Lienert-Brown (Canterbury) have received five-week suspensions following their red cards in the Taranaki vs Canterbury Mitre 10 Cup game last week.

Hoeata was red carded in the 6th minute following a retaliation punch and Lienert-Brown later in the game for a headbutt. Both players miss the final round of the tournament and Hoeata will miss 4 further games yet to be decided while Lienert-Brown will have a further 2 matches to be decided if Canterbury advance to the final
