Hitosho Ono recalled into the Japan squad

The Japan Rugby Football Union has announced that Sunwolves lock Hitoshi Ono has been recalled to the Japan squad as an injury replacement ahead of their upcoming Tests against Romania and Ireland.
The 39-year-old lock, who has played 98 times for his country, replaces Suntory Sungoliath second row Shinya Makabe, having been initially omitted from Jamie Joseph's squad for the games against Romania (June 10) and Ireland (June 17 and 24).
