Highlights: Ireland v Wales | Six Nations

Ireland made it two wins from two with a 24-14 home victory over defending champions Wales in round 2 of the Six Nations Championship. Wales absorbed almost 20 minutes of pressure until Ireland opened the scoring with a try midway through the first half. Despite limited possession and territory, Wales hit back with a try to lead 7-5. The lead did not last long as Ireland responded with their second score to take a 12-7 advantage into the halftime break. An early second half try saw Ireland take control of the match at 19-7. Wales needed a response, but Ireland managed to control the tempo of the match and play in the right areas of the field which saw them run in the bonus point try with five minutes remaining. Ireland picked up a late yellow card which saw Wales score with the final play of the game which would prove to little too late for the visitors.
