South Africa and Australia played out a thrilling 27-27 draw in this afternoon's Rugby Championship clash at the Free State Stadium. Both sides started the game brightly, scoring a converted try each in the opening twenty minutes; one for Israel Folau and the other for Ruan Dreyer. Foley and Jantjies then exchanged penalties leaving the half time score at 13-10 to Australia. The second half was absolutely breathless form start to finish. Both sides scored two tries each, one for Serfontein, one for Skosan and two for Marika Koroibete. Jantjies slotted a penalty in the 70th minute to level the scores at 27-27 with 10 minutes left to play. He then had a chance to clinch victory for the Boks in the dying minutes of the game but his effort sailed wide of the posts leaving the game to end as a draw.
