The Scarlets come away with the win in their final game of the year. The Ospreys led at the break despite the Scarlets playing most of the rugby in the first half. Stephen Myler opened the scoring in the 13th minute after his side's first entry into Scarlets' half before Reuben Morgan-Williams scored a beaut of a solo try. The Scarlets had two missed shots at goal with Dan Jones hitting the upright and Angus O'Brien sending a long ranged effort wide. Jones did slot one in the 25th minute. Half time: Ospreys 8-3 Scarlets.
Myler stretched Ospreys' lead to 8 points shortly after half time with Dan Jones cancelling that effort out in the 50th minute with a shot at goal himself. Myler slotted another penalty just three minute later before Dan Jones made it a 5-point game with 20 minutes to play. The Scarlets' bench had a major impact on the game with Blade Thomson and Gareth Davies shining in particular. The pair combined for the Scarlets' only and match winning try with Davies sending an excellent box kick up for Thomson who regather before the looseforward produced a slick offload moments later to send Angus O'Brien through for the try. Scarlets bossed the final 10 minutes of the game with the boots of Davies and Dan Jones proving pivotal before they ran down the clock in the Ospreys' 22. Full Time: Ospreys 14-16 Scarlets.
