HIGHLIGHTS: France v Black Ferns
- 3048
What should have been a thrilling game of attacking rugby between two great sides was hampered by the weather in Toulon making it extremely difficult for either side to truly express themselves on attack. The rainy weather meant that there were only two tries scored in the 80 minutes with Leilani Perese and Renee Wickcliffe dotting down for the Blacks Ferns as they claimed a 14-0 win over the Grand Slam Six Nations Champions. France had limited opportunities to get on the board with Monsterrat Amedee's 21-minute missed penalty attempt the only shot at goal the French took. The two sides will face off in Grenoble a week from now for what should be another humdinger of a match.
