Highlights: Argentina v New Zealand
- 1411
New Zealand ran out 36-10 victors over Argentina in tonight's Rugby Championship clash at Estadio Jose Amalfitani. The All Blacks got off to a flying start scoring four first half tries; one for McKenzie, one for Naholo and two for Kieran Read compared to a solitary Nicolas Sanchez penalty, leaving the half time score at 29-3. The quality of rugby deteriorated significantly in the second half as both sides consistently made unforced errors, disrupting the flow of the game. Argentina managed to score a try when Juan Manuel Leguizamon crossed the whitewash after some excellent work by the Pumas pack but it was too little too late and was ultimately cancelled out when debutant David Havili got over the line in the 82nd minute. New Zealand will be happy to have secured victory but will be unhappy with their second half performance. Argentina will also be bitterly disappointed as they have now lost their last five games in a row.
