- 2815
New Zealand made it a clean sweep of the Bledisloe Cup for 2018 with a 37-20 win over Australia in the third clash. New Zealand had already retained the Bledisloe Cup, having won the two encounters in the Rugby Championship and opened the scoring with an early try before Australia pulled three points back with a penalty. A New Zealand penalty followed before the All Blacks ran in a second try for a 17-3 lead. Australia needed a response and hit back with their first try on the stroke of halftime to trail just 17-10 at the break. An early second half penalty for Australia reduced the deficit to just four points. New Zealand added a penalty shortly after and then crossed for their third try to take control at 27-13 heading into the final quarter. Australia then picked up a yellow card, with the All Blacks capitalizing almost immediately with their fourth try to all but wrap up the match. Australia managed to get over for a second score with five minutes remaining, but there was still time for a fifth New Zealand try to put the icing on the cake of a Bledisloe whitewash.
