Has Teddy Thomas sidestepped his way back into the France squad?
- 2553
Teddy Thomas was a massive omission in France's Rugby World Cup squad that reached the quarter-finals in Japan.
The 26-year-old scored 10 tries for France between 2014 and 2018 in just 16 tests before a long term injury saw him sidelined for the 2019 Six Nations.
Despite his return to fitness and form he was unable to reclaim a place in the squad in time for the tournament in Japan.
He has continued to perform this season and against Clermont, on the weekend he claimed his 10th try in as many games for Racing 92 by sidestepping the man that went to Japan instead of him, Alivereti Raka to score.
Thomas finished off a fine try with Finn Russell putting Virmi Vakatawa through a gap and the centre throwing a stellar long ball out to the winger.
