Hansen admits his All Blacks were sloppy
New Zealand head coach Steve Hansen admitted that his side were a little sloppy during their 58-14 win over Namibia.
The All Blacks ran in nine tries having completely changed their starting XV from the previous Sunday’s win over Uruguay.
Hansen was impressed by facets of Namibia’s play and the way they kept competing.
"When they got tired at the end the game, got a bit messy, and that's what you would expect when you have eight amateur players against one of the most professional teams in rugby,” said Hansen.
"But early on I thought they committed themselves to the breakdown at the lineout and the tackle with great commitment and I think they should be really proud of themselves.
"I am happy to acknowledge they were worthy opponents and at the end of the day they gave everything they could give and that's all you can ask of a man."
