Handre Pollard added to Montpellier's European squad

2019 Rugby World Cup winner Handre Pollard has been added to Montpellier's European squad ahead of their game against Gloucester.

The Springboks fly-half has replaced Aaron Cruden, who played his last game for the side on Sunday.

The news also come after Montpellier announced Pollard was reporting for duty at the club yesterday, along with fellow Rugby World Cup winner Frans Steyn.

The club posted a photograph to their Twitter showing the Bok pair together in the changeroom.

Both players featured in the November 2 win over England in the World Cup final in Yokohama, with Pollard starting at flyhalf while Steyn came off the bench to win his second Webb Ellis Cup.
