Hallam Amos is set to miss the remainder of the season after suffering a knee injury during Cardiff Blues’ PRO14 victory over Benetton Rugby.
The full-back sustained the injury in the closing stages of the Sunday fixture and returned to the Wales camp on Tuesday where he was assessed.
He returned to Cardiff Blues ahead of last weekend’s trip to Edinburgh, however he was ruled unfit ahead of the captain’s run and subsequent scans revealed an injury which requires surgical intervention.
