Gloucester to team named for Bath derby

The Cherry & Whites side to take on Bath Rugby at a packed-out Kingsholm tomorrow has been revealed.

Ciaran Knight comes into the front row after a solid showing off the bench last weekend. Jack Singleton is also added to the front three, with Afo Fasogbon completing the trio.

Academy graduates, Arthur Clark and Freddie Thomas combine in the engine room, with Jack Clement, Lewis Ludlow and Zach Mercer forming an exciting back row. Ludlow is handed the captaincy on his return to the starting XV.

Tomos Williams, who scored a brace last time out against Sale Sharks, starts with Gareth Anscombe in the half-back positions, with Seb Atkinson and Max Llewellyn lining up in the centre. With Llewellyn shifting in from wing, Ollie Thorley has overcome a minor injury to tackle his place on the flank.

On the opposite side of the pitch, Christian Wade misses out with a minor rib injury, but there's a welcome return for Josh Hathaway, who missed the first three games of the season after sustaining an injury on Wales' summer tour to Australia.

Santi Carreras is also set for his first minutes in Cherry & White this season, after returning from international duty with Argentina.

On the bench, Seb Blake, Val Rapava-Ruskin, Kirill Gotovtsev, Freddie Clarke and Ruan Ackermann cover the forwards, as George Skivington reverts back to a 5-3 split. Caolan Englefield, Charlie Atkinson and George Barton wait in the wings for the backs.
