Gloucester Rugby host Exeter Chiefs at Kingsholm on Friday 28 October (7.45pm KO) in the first Friday night kick-off at Holm of the season.
Cherry & Whites Head Coach George Skivington promises a special atmosphere for the clash.
"It's awesome, I get excited every time!
"We are lucky we're here every day but there's something very special about game day here, the noise in the warm up and the way the atmosphere builds. It's very, very exciting."
Exeter beat Gloucester home and away last season and Skivington knows the challenges the two time Premiership winners will bring.
"They have a had a similar start to the season as us. They're a really physical outfit, the Sarries game was really close and similar to our game, Sarries nicked it at the end but it could have gone either way.
Exeter have built the club the right way and they've done some brilliant stuff and that's something I've looked at."
Skivington's side are coming off the back of a narrow win at London Irish and Skivington reflected on the evenly matched encounter.
"It's a hard place to go, London Irish are a tough challenge, they play good rugby and they throw the ball around and score tries.
"The conditions weren't great, it belted it down before kick-off so it was a big win for us. There will be a lot of teams that will go there and not win so even though there's lots for us to work on it was ultimately a good win."
Gloucester have won their last three games by a tight margin and Skivington praised the way his team have found a way to win these tight games.
"There was a few things that didn't go our way but this team are becoming robust and good at decision making.
"Sometimes the momentum can shift the game a way feels and Irish had a lot of momentum in the game, but the boys stood tall and fought hard and didn't allow it to effect them. I thought the boys showed resilience and played some smart rugby, so a good win."
