Gatland provides positive injury assessment on Conor Murray

Warren Gatland has provided a positive assessment on the fitness of Conor Murray.
The Lions head coach had previously stated his concerns about Murray's slow recovery from a shoulder stinger suffered during the Six Nations and admitted that the Munster man would have to prove his fitness before travelling to New Zealand.
Speaking yesterday, the Kiwi gave a much more positive update on the 28-year-old's prospects of making it on tour and said he expects Murray to play for Munster before the end of the season.
"Conor Murray, the prognosis with him looks pretty positive in terms of hopefully getting back and getting a game for Munster as well, and that will be good for him over the next few weeks if he can get a game," Gatland said.
Gatland was also upbeat on the prospects of captain Sam Warburton and second row Alun Wyn Jones proving their fitness for the start of the Lions tour.
"He (Warburton) is good," Gatland said. "I spoke to Sam yesterday, and he feels that he could play now, and so he has made some really good progress and is really happy with how he has responded to treatment over the last few weeks.
