Gary Graham to remain a Falcon for three more years

27 year old Scotland international, Gary Graham, has signed on for the Falcons for a further three years.

The flanker has been in great form of late, managing to bag five tries in fourteen outings as Newcastle seek to continue their winnings ways as the enter the Premiership next season.

With regard to the signing, Graham was all smiles:

“I was brought up around the club with my dad being a Falcons player when I was growing up, it’s always had a special place for me and it’s great to have the new contract sorted.

“It’s a strange time for us in a way with having such a long gap between seasons, but the boys are putting the time to good use and making sure we go in with a full tank when the Premiership starts again for us on November 20.

“We’ve got a load of great players in our squad who can really make an impact, and we’re looking forward to rattling a few cages when next season eventually gets underway.”

Falcons’ Director of Rugby, Dean Richards was also positive about the development:

“He throws absolutely everything into it, has a major impact on things and is adding new strings to his game all the time.

“He’s also a great character around the place and we love having him here, so it’s fantastic that he has committed to us for the long term.”
