Full time report: New Zealand vs France
New Zealand progressed to the last four in convincing fashion after they thrashed France in Cardiff. The situation looked ominous from early on for the French as the All Blacks looked relentless in attack. New Zealand scored four tries in the first half with incredible finishing from the wingers Savea and Milner-Skudder.
However the French cause was helped by a late first half try from Louis Picamoles and France looked to be in touch at the break. In the second period the flood gates opened and New Zealand ran in 5 tries unanswered. France never really produced any answers and were simply outclassed by the skill of the All Blacks.
MOTM. Julian Savea. 38 tries in 39 matches, this man is unstoppable at his best. A fantastic performance from the man nicknamed 'the bus', his raw speed and pure power tore the French defence apart and a special mention for his second try, which was an astonishing run which summed Savea up as a player.
